Delta Will

"Manic Pulse"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished May 20, 2015

Last we heard from psyched-out electro-folk outfit Delta Will, the Toronto band were putting their own spin on Caribou's "Can't Do Without You" for Exclaim! TV. Well, they're currently prepping their debut LP, and Exclaim! has got your first listen to the brand new single "Manic Pulse."

It's a hypnotic blend of indie rock and electro-pop, serving up a sampling of twinkling keys, percussive grooves and frontman Charles Tilden's versatile vocals, and the track was recorded with producer Chris Stringer at Toronto's Lincoln Country Social Club.

"It's a song I wrote about a young man's dizzying journey through the triumphant highs and loathsome lows of a manic episode," Tilden said in a statement about the song. "Sonically, the track alternates between dark swelling verses and explosive sparkling choruses of psych-pop bliss."
