The build up to the Dears' new album, Degeneration Street, has been a long one. The epic Montreal rockers have been playing it live since last fall, and they've been unveiling it one track at a time through a series of webcasts. Now, the entire album is freely streaming online
The album will officially drop next week (February 15) via Pheramone/Dangerbird, but you can listen to it now over at Hype Machine.
If you've been following the band in recent months, you will be sure to recognize some of these tracks already: there's the falsetto-laden dance rocker "Omega Dog" (which has a music video), the simmering "Throne" and the jagged, distortion-steeped "Blood."
