The Darkness Book North American Fall Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 22, 2015

The Darkness believe in a thing called touring. Having released their album Last of Our Kind earlier this month, the cock-rocking Brits have announced plans to cross the pond this fall for a run of North American shows.

Throughout the summer, the Darkness will play a smattering of European festival engagements. Then, in October, they will come to North America for three weeks' worth of shows. In addition to a number of U.S. stops, this jaunt includes Canadian appearances in Vancouver (October 13) and Toronto (October 23).

After the North American run, the band will return to their home nation for a UK leg. See the full international schedule for the so-called "Blast of Our Kind" tour below.

Frontman Justin Hawkins said in a loveably cocky statement, "The Darkness consists of my brother Dan, Frankie Poullain, Rufus Taylor and I. This is golden-era the Darkness. If you like music, come see us perform live. If you do not like music, jog on — there is nothing for you here. Last of Our Kind is a collection of then magnificent songs that the Darkness are extremely proud of. It is the best rock album you will hear this year. It is the best rock album you will hear until next time The Darkness makes an album. I should know. I'm the singer."

Tickets for the newly announced North American dates go on sale to the public on Friday (June 26).
