With summer approaching, Victoria beer makers Phillips Brewing Company are getting ready to sell plenty of signature suds like their Blue Buck amber ale and the hefty, hopped-up Amnesiac Double IPA. They'll also be celebrating the sunny season with their annual outdoor Phillips Backyard Weekender music festival, which will bring Dan Mangan, BADBADNOTGOOD, Talib Kweli and more to the brewery grounds in July.

Today (May 5), the craft beer company confirmed that it will be hosting the three-day party between July 24 and 26. The shows take place in the back lot behind its headquarters in downtown Victoria and will see the stage graced by a variety of rock-, rap- and reggae-minded artists.

The first night will be headlined by New York rapper Talib Kweli, with supporting acts including the Easy Star All-Stars, DāM-FunK and Kuba Oms. Saturday will have Ontario dance music project USS playing with jazz-experimenters BADBADNOTGOOD, Watsky, Bliss N Eso, Bestie and Little India.

The weekend will be capped with a headlining performance from Dan Mangan + Blacksmith, with the rest of the day featuring performances from Idaho indie rock vets Built to Spill, as well as Jon and Roy, Northcote and Weird Party.

For a limited time, Phillips is selling passes for the entire weekend at an early-bird rate of $75. You can pick one up right now over here. Single-day tickets go on sale this Friday (May 8), with each day costing $34.50.
