Toronto four-piece Curses will be hitting the stage in their hometown for Canadian Music Week, and to mark the occasion, they've shared a new track called "Back to Your Love" — and Exclaim! has got your first listen to it.
On the new tune, bursts of crunchy guitars and synth-y undertones are bolstered by steady, pounding percussion and emotional vocals. And if that voice sounds familiar, that's because it belongs to former Abandon All Ships member Martin Broda.
"Back to Your Love" marks the group's first single, and they'll be hitting the studio at the end of the month to finish recording their debut release. In the meantime, you can catch Curses at their upcoming CMW show in Toronto. They play tomorrow night (May 2) at Hard Luck.
