Current Swell Book Canadian Fall Tour

Rootsy Vancouver Island pop-rock band Current Swell are known for their summery sounds, but rather than hibernate in the coming months, they've announced plans to tour Canada in the late fall.

The 22-date outing launches in Ontario in early November. The band will then spend the next month-plus on the road, heading as far east as Quebec before making their way back to Western Canada. See the schedule below.

Current Swell's four-piece lineup will be joined by trombone/trumpet duo Dope Soda Horns, and a press release release promises that they "[provide] a boost in the overall live show performance and take the fan experience to the next level."

Current Swell released their album Ulysses last year, and more recently issued the EP Home Is Where You Make It. The latest single from the EP is a new version of "Young and Able," a song that originally appeared on 2009's Protect Your Own. The lyric video for the new version of the tune can be seen at the bottom of this page.
