Corrosion of Conformity Members Rope In Randy Blythe and Dave Grohl for Teenage Time Killers Project

Members of North Carolina metal vets Corrosion of Conformity are apparently putting together a new collaborative, multi-vocalist project called Teenage Time Killers, and one of the first reveals behind the set is that Lamb of God's Randy Blythe will be screaming on a track that will also feature Foo Fighters main man Dave Grohl.

Blythe spread the news yesterday (May 8) over Instagram, where he posted a pic of him hanging out with drummer Reed Mullin and bassist/vocalist Mike Dean. This may not be a huge surprise, but Blythe comes out in the message as being a major C.O.C. fan.

"Their record, Animosity, is a HUGE influence on me, in fact the vocals on that record by these two men [Mullin and Dean] were the first screaming type music I tried to sing along to, EVER," Blythe wrote before detailing his team-up with the duo. "Reed had a track he wanted me to write lyrics for & sing on, so I did (title is 'Hung Out to Dry') — it's old-school COC style thrash punk & I killed it on the mic last night — SO FAST!"

Blythe offered up a few other details about Teenage Time Killers, who are named after an old Rudimentary Peni song. The music was tracked at Dave Grohl's Sound City studio, and the Foo Fighters leader reportedly played guitar on "Hung Out to Dry" too. It's unclear at present just who the other "cool vocalists" Blythe said are attached to the project may be or when it will finally be released.
