Experimental freak-folk sister act CocoRosie recently hinted at the arrival of their sixth record, and now the duo of Bianca and Sierra Casady have revealed the title and release date for the forthcoming full-length.

Taking the name of a previously shared live single, the new album will be called Heartache City is due out on September 18.

As previously reported, the new material was recorded at the sisters' farm studio in the south of France, using "minimal equipment, vintage toys and antique instruments."

The result will supposedly take the band's sound away from recent forays into experimental psychedelic electronic and back to the La Maison Days of good old-fashioned folk. "Our latest songs have a dusty southern feel with old-timey poetry," the musicians said, in a recent press release.

In addition to firming up the details of release, CocoRosie have offered up a second sampling of the new record. Also shared in the form of a live recording, you can listen to album cut "Un Beso" in the player below.
