Onetime Wolf Eyes/Hair Police member Mike Connelly and Tara Connelly teamed up a couple of years back as synth-noir soundscaping duo Clay Rendering, and have now revealed that they'll be following up their EP releases with their first full-length offering. You can get the first taste of their Snowthorn via a fiery album trailer.
The record is due November 5 through Prurient guy Dominick Fernow's Hospital Productions imprint, and the label owner also had a hand in producing the LP. A press release adds that the nine-song outing explores the outer regions of goth, ambient, black metal and dream pop. Nine Inch Nails are also used as a touchstone.
