Chromatics and Glass Candy genius Johnny Jewel has been cleaning out his proverbial closet, letting loose all sorts of previously unreleased gems. Today, he's back with another pair of treats.
The 8-track version of Chromatics' "Shadow" hardly sounds like it was recorded with any limitations, as the song's a romantic noir ballad complete with dreamy synths and Twin Peaks-like guitars. Similarly, the song "End Credits" — which is simply credited to Jewel — is moody and cinematic, unfolding seemingly endless layers of ambience as it plays out.
