Grunge howler Chris Cornell has a new solo album called Higher Truth on the way next month, and we can now get our first preview of what's in store thanks to the newly unveiled single "Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart."
The with its acoustic instrumentation, slinky grooves and psychedelic instrumental break, this doesn't sound much like Soundgarden (nor does it resemble Cornell's Timbaland collaboration, thankfully). Rather, it has the kind of dramatic folk-soul vibe that would have worked nicely as an Adele song.
