Cheatahs

"Controller"

UK grunge-pop act Cheatahs are set to follow their self-titled full-length with a new EP called Sunne. Today, they've shared its lead single "Controller."

The song's a blissful slow-burner built on dreamy guitars and, well, dreamy vocals, with some busy drum work and heavy fuzz bass thrown in to keep things interesting.

Speaking with The Fader, who premiered the track, the band's Nathan Hewitt said, "This song is probably the first time we've ever written a song on the spot. We were demoing songs in our studio and this one just came out of nowhere. It was like we were being controlled in a video game or something."

Listen to "Controller" below. The Sunne EP is slated for a February 24 release.
