Montreal musician Michael Silver recently announced plans for a new CFCF called Radiance and Submission. Today, we get our first taste of the LP with a track called "The Ruined Map."
A press release for the album suggested it "celebrates the ephemeral" by pairing Silver's penchant for synth work with harmonized vocals and acoustic guitars. "The Ruined Map" perfectly supports this suggestion, as it's got more in common with new age folk than the danceable electronic music of CFCF's past. It's a welcome evolution in sound from an artist who's always keeping us on our toes.
