The Castagne's

"First One" (video)

Sibling duo the Castagne's recently released their latest LP First One, but now they've unveiled some new visuals for the album's title track — and Exclaim! has got the exclusive video premiere.

Hailing from Rosemère, QC, Philippe and Marjolaine have been playing music together their whole lives, and this latest project hears them experimenting with a "glam-punk-trash-pop" sound.

It comes through on the upbeat new single "First One," and the colourful accompanying visuals add another layer of fun. We see the band playing atop a magical mystery school bus in the middle of the desert, while kaleidoscopic camera effects make for an extra wild time.

The video was shot while the band were on tour in California, where they met visual artist Cain Motter. He invited them to play at his Halloween party in the desert, which spawned the footage for "First One." See all the psychedelic, rainbow-coloured action for yourself in the player below.
