Caribou

'Mixtape 2014'

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 12, 2014

For those who bought Caribou's new album Our Love at Rough Trade record stores, it was packaged along with a mix CD compiled by Dan Snaith. For the rest of us, the compilation can now be streamed online.

Simply titled Mixtape 2014, the comp runs for 47 and a half minutes, and includes material from Daphni (a.k.a. Snaith's dance alias), Lil Wayne, Aphrodite's Child, Todd Edwards and more. This beat-heavy selection of tracks ought to give fans an idea of where Snaith's head was at during the creation of Our Love.

The player is at the bottom of the page. Below, see the list of material included on Mixtape 2014, and note that one song is listed simply with question marks.
