Cancer Bats

'Searching for Zero' (album stream)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 2, 2015

As previously reported, Canadian hardcore/punk favourites Cancer Bats are ready to split our skulls once again with the release of Searching for Zero. Before the album officially hits stores March 10 via New Damage Records, you can catch all the ferocity a week ahead of time in a full-album stream.

After hearing early leaks of singalong punk anthem "Satellites" and the destructive, Sabbath-meets-Southern sludge cut "True Zero," you can now sample unholy attacks like the slow-mo "Beelzebub" and "Devil's Blood." The high-speed "All Hail" is also a riff-slinging ripper dedicated to late Gwar frontman Dave Brockie (a.k.a. Oderus Urungus).

Full of pinch squeals, sinister shuffles, all-out blitzes and feral screams, Cancer Bats' latest crusher can be heard down below courtesy of Noisey.
