Camp Radio's Chris Page Announces 'Volume Vs. Voice' Solo LP

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 25, 2015

Ottawa journeyman Chris Page is the frontman for Camp Radio and the Stand GT, but this spring he'll be focusing on his solo career. His latest album is called Volume Vs. Voice, and it's due out on April 21.

A press release notes that this album tones down his explosive punk influences and instead emphasizes his "wistful, stripped-down pop" leanings, with influences including Billy Bragg and Paul Westerberg.

For a taste of this, scroll past the tracklist below to hear the melancholic folk-rock number "My Focal Point." Also below, see Page's spring tour schedule, which consists of dates across Canada in April.

This is the follow-up to 2010's solo album A Date with a Smoke Machine. Volume Vs. Voice can be pre-ordered on CD or digitally from Bandcamp.
