Back in the fall, Broken Social Scene co-founder Brendan Canning hinted that he would be resurrecting his old project Cookie Duster (which was originally his duo with ex-Change of Heart keyboardist Bernard Maiezza). Now, that long-lost band have confirmed the details of what is to be their first album in more than a decade.
Entitled When Flying Was Easy, the record follows the project's 2001 self-titled debut and is due out on May 15 through SQE Music. It will contain 12 songs, as you can see from the tracklist below. The goofy, hand-drawn album cover is above.

We don't know too much about what the album will actually sound like or which guests may pop up on the record, but you can stream the track "Two Feet Stand Up" via Pitchfork over here. It's a hooky, female-sung pop gem that's sure to make the possible dissolution of Broken Social Scene go down a little easier.
