Producer Ghislain Poirier is preparing to release a new album as Boundary, and with a listening session for Still Life coming up in Montreal on September 9, he has shared the track "Royaum" ahead of time.
This meditative electronic cut features only minimal rhythmic accompaniment. The focus here in on the spaced-out synths, as a brassy melody line echoes atop a backdrop of filtered swirls. A previous press release's promise of "electronic chamber music" is most definitely an accurate description for this.
