Boogat Unveils New 'Neo-Reconquista' LP, Shares First Single

Fans of Spanish-language rap can rejoice, since Quebec's Boogat has announced that he will be releasing a new album this spring. Neo-Reconquista will be out on May 4 through Maisonnette.

A press release notes that the album emphasizes "festive grooves and meaningful lyrics," and this can be heard on the lead single "Londres," which features Pierre Kwenders. This bubbly, Latin-flavoured rap track "is about the disappearance and homogenization of cultures, both human and environmental."

The single can be heard at the bottom of this page. It can be purchased on iTunes, where the entire album is available for pre-order.

Neo-Reconquista is the follow-up to El Dorado Sunset, which came out back in 2013.
