Bonfire

"Mom's Garden" (video)

Post-hardcore prairie unit Bonfire hail from Saskatoon, and they're ready to unleash a brand new video for "Mom's Garden." You can see the premiere right here on Exclaim!

They recently dropped an EP titled Mom's Garden, which was produced by Misery Signals' Karl Shubach. The title track opens with gentle guitars and crystalline vocals, then slowly builds to incorporate the intricacies of their rhythm section.

The accompanying visuals feature a performance from the band, set in a room that's as moodily lit as the melancholic song. The track is available as a pay-what-you-can purchase here, and you can get your first glimpse at the new clip in the player below.

Bonfire drummer Kurt Wolfe had this to say in a statement: "The video was directed by the talented Dylan Hryciuk of Versa Films. The video captures the sombre tone of the music and lyrics through a warm colour palette, as well as depicts the intensity and emotion of our live performances through quick and creative cinematography. We couldn't be happier to have it premiere on Exclaim! and deeply encourage you to check it out. This release has meant the world to us, and we are unbelievably excited to finally release it!"
