If you've been wanting to purchase all of Bob Dylan's albums but don't know where to start, Legacy Recordings and Columbia Records will soon help you out with that. They are compiling the legendary songwriter's entire discography into a massive CD box set. Bob Dylan Complete Album Collection Vol. One will be out on November 5.
The set includes an incredible 35 studio albums, six live albums and a two-CD collection of non-LP cuts called Side Tracks, plus a hardcover book containing liner notes for each album. This marks the first time that 1973's Dylan has been pressed on CD in North America. Furthermore, 14 of the albums have been newly remastered.
The box set begins with 1962's Bob Dylan and goes all the way until 2012's Tempest. The albums will also be available digitally in four decade-specific collections, which will divide his discography into The 60's, The 70's, The 80's and The 90's-00's. The first eight albums will additionally be released in mono as Bob Dylan - The Original Mono Recordings.
This Vol. One box set will be followed next year by Vol. Two, which will bring together the entire Bootleg Series.
