Bob Dylan is preparing to release his Frank Sinatra covers album Shadows in the Night on February 3 via Columbia Records, and fans can tide themselves over until then with his version of "Stay with Me."
While the voice here is unmistakably Dylan, he goes into crooner mode over top of this quiet, countrified arrangement that emphasizes pedal steel. Despite his laid-back delivery, however, his singing has some of the gruff shakiness that he has acquired with age, so this isn't your average smooth oldie.
