Coming off the recent release of their Beyond the Red Mirror LP, longtime metal defenders Blind Guardian have announced plans to support their latest long-player with a hefty North American tour.
While the shows are still a ways off, the German outfit recently revealed that they'll be crossing continents in the fall. A month-long North American tour kicks off October 27 in Baltimore, but there will be plenty of Canadian stops taking place before the trip wraps up in late November. Along the way, they'll pass through Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
Support on all dates will be handled by fellow German metal vets Grave Digger. You'll find all of the show specifics at the bottom of the page.
As previously reported, Beyond the Red Mirror is a sequel to 1995's Imaginations from the Other Side and finds the band bouncing between "whip-fast speed metal and operatic rock." The bombastic LP is likewise rich with orchestra arrangements and the use of three choirs.
The band had also told Exclaim! earlier this year that a different orchestral project will be released sometime after they wrap the fall tour.
