Earlier this month, Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney dislocated his shoulder in a swimming injury, and although doctors have said that he will make a full recovery, the band have now cancelled all of their tour dates through March due to the injury.
The group had been due to tour in Europe in February and March, but the entire run has now been cancelled outright. Attempts to reschedule the shows were unsuccessful, so tickets will be refunded.
A statement from the band reads, "We are very sorry to have to cancel our upcoming performances through March 10. Patrick needs time to heal. We thank all of our fans for their support and we're looking forward to getting back on the road."
The tour is expected to resume on April 2 in Australia. After their Aussie run, the band have scheduled shows in Japan, the U.S. and Europe. See the schedule below.
