Back in the spring, one-of-a-kind Icelander Björk premiered her concert film Björk: Biophilia Live at New York's Tribeca Film Festival. Now, the flick is getting a more extensive run of worldwide screenings.

There will be screenings peppered throughout the world this fall. This includes seven currently confirmed Canadian locales. See the list of Canadian cities and dates below; a trailer for the film is below that.

The full itinerary of screenings can be seen here (where tickets are also available). You can also fill out a request form to have the film possibly screen near you.

Björk: Biophilia Live was directed by Peter Strickland and Nick Fenton. The original description from Tribeca notes that the directors "punctuate Björk's music with evocative animation and science and nature footage." In other words, this is much more than your average live film. It shows Björk and her band performing her cross-platform album Biophilia in full.

Presumably, the film will eventually be made available on DVD and/or via on-demand services.
