Big Boi Says He Will No Longer Answer Any Outkast Questions, Quashes Beef Rumours Between Him and Andre 3000

BY Alex HudsonPublished Nov 15, 2012

Outkast haven't released an album since 2006's Idlewild, and various reports in 2012 have suggested that the beloved rap act aren't likely to release anything soon. Big Boi recently told the Village Voice that his Outkast bandmate, Andre 3000, had refused a recent collaboration because he was busy shooting a Gillette commercial, but now he has clarified his words and called a moratorium on any more Outkast questions.

The rapper tweeted yesterday (November 14), "The Gillete Statement was me being Sarcastic, man y'all slow as hell, No Beef between me and Stacks. No More Outkast ?'s will be answered." He added, "#‪ViciousLiesAndDangerousRumors‬ is such a fitting Title."

Of course, just because Big Boi won't be answering any more Outkast questions doesn't mean that fans and critics will stop speculating. Hopefully, we'll hear some more updates from the rappers when they finally have new music to release.

In the meantime, Big Boi will release the Andre 3000-free Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors through Purple Ribbon/Def Jam on December 11.
