Progressive metalcore crew Between the Buried and Me are pushing past their grandiose Parallax project to put out another LP. The band's next set is called Coma Ecliptic, and Metal Blade puts it out July 7.
A press release explains that the upcoming collection is yet another concept LP, this time focusing on "the wanderings of an unidentified man, stuck in a coma, as he journeys through his past lives." The album is described as a Twilight Zone-style journey, and finds the protagonist making his way through the landscapes of his mind, being offered along the way to "stay, or move on to the next in search of something better, something more 'perfect.'"
Though a tracklisting has yet to be unveiled in full, the first single will be unveiled April 3, the same day pre-orders go on sale.
Between the Buried and Me have also announced a summer tour across North America with Animals as Leaders and the Contortionist. While sticking mostly to the U.S., the trek does find the acts coming up into Canada to play London, ON, on August 4. You'll find all of the tour dates down below.
