Belle and Sebastian

"The Party Line" (video)

Glaswegian indie pop mainstays Belle and Sebastian toyed with newfound dance influences on recent single "The Party Line," and now they've paired the tune with some visuals.

The track is the first taste of forthcoming album Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance — and will likely make ladies want to do just that — while the video itself explores the more surreal elements of dance, repeated in triptych.

The clip was shot at the Great Hall in Toronto with Canadian directors Leblanc + Cudmore and was choreographed by Robert Binet. The Scottish twee collective will return to Toronto for a show at Massey Hall on April 1, with full tour details available here.

Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance is out on January 20 via Matador. Watch the brand new video for "The Party Line" below.
