Though they've both been linked to Rihanna in the past, Toronto rap great Drake and singer Chris Brown have never shown signs that there's any beef between them. Last night (June 13), however, the two were allegedly involved in a violent bar brawl during a Maybach Music Group listening party.

TMZ has confirmed with the NYPD that the artists' crews were involved in a fight at New York's W.I.P. Club, though both of the artists in question had already left the club by the time police arrived. At least five people were injured in the scuffle, but no arrests were made.

According to Chris Brown's Twitter, he was one of the people escaping with a wound. He tweeted, "Niggas throwing bottles! Y'all niggaz weak!", "Niggas is pussy" and "How u party wit a rich nigga that hate? Lol.... Throwing bottles like girls? #shameonya!" Then, he posted the above photo to his Instagram. All of the posts have since been removed.

Maybach Music signee Meek Mill was also rumoured to be part of the altercation, though he jokingly cleared his name on Twitter, writing, "It wasn't me…. (shaggy voice) lol."

UPDATE: According to TMZ, Chris Brown has now spoken to New York police about the brawl, which left him injured, and his lawyers reportedly gave officers "physical evidence" to prove Drake was involved in the dust-up. Meanwhile, Drake is said to be cooperating with police as they carry out their investigation.
