As promised, musical shapeshifter Beck has let us into his "Dreams," and Morning Phase this is not.
The first new Beck track since his massive Grammy win is a big, slick pop song of the highest order, loading on slinky funk guitars, hooky vocal touches and whole lot of payoff. But don't take our word for it: stream "Dreams" below.
The plans so far for "Dreams" are a little unclear, but Beck did say the song would end up on a new as-yet-untitled album, which he described as the "opposite" of the sombre Morning Phase. And by the sounds of the pop-heavy "Dreams," we believe him.
