The latest Canadian artist to participate in the recently launched Pinball Sessions is Baby Eagle, who performed a few stripped-down tunes live in the studio.
The short set finds Baby Eagle — a.k.a. Steve Lambke of Constantines — performing a few solo acoustic songs. This includes "Brave Women" from 2012's Bone Soldiers and a couple of unreleased tunes.
A descripton accompanying the stream explains, "Steve has been laying low the past little while but we were lucky enough to have him come by the studio back in April. Unassuming and seemingly shy, Steve came into the studio and wasted no time in setting up his guitar and himself at the mic. Foregoing any comforts he went into the three songs subtly, quietly and with an obscene amount of humility... This session is a taste of Baby Eagle we may not see for a time. Steve told us he doesn't have anything planned at the moment but fingers crossed he's just stringing us along."
