The Babies are currently hitting rock clubs around North America in support of their recently released sophomore set Our House on the Hill, but judging by the karaoke-style clip for album track "Baby," singer/guitarist Cassie Ramone is taking their tunes to less conventional stages too.
The vid has the artist standing in front of a projection of a beachy locale, with the lyrics of her plaintive garage-pop jangler screening atop her physique. While the clip starts off sounding as if we're about to catch an in-the-moment, live karaoke performance with Ramone singing atop a tinny backing track, the filmmakers fade in the original by the time the vocals kick in.
