January is officially upon us, and right on cue, indie rap vets Atmosphere have rolled out a video for their song "January on Lake Street."
The video isn't particularly wintery, but it definitely complements the downcast tone of the piano-tinkling rap track. We see slow motion footage of a series of folks staring past the camera with blank expressions, while all the while a young man travels around town on a skateboard. It's very low key, but the video reaches a surprisingly dramatic conclusion in the final moments, as we discover what everyone looked so pensive about.
