Arcade Fire to Release 'Reflektor' Outtakes 7-Inch

This month, Arcade Fire are giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at their Reflektor tour with the Kahlil Joseph-directed documentary The Reflektor Tapes. It seems that the celebrated Montreal group may have a little something extra for their fans, since it appears that they are going to be sharing a couple of album outtakes on a new 7-inch.

Although nothing has been officially confirmed, various record shops have reported that Arcade Fire will release a 7-inch on September 25. Los Angeles store Touch Vinyl tweeted [via Arcade Fire Tube] that it will have the single in stock, and online listings from Deejay.de and Bol.com convey similar information.

It seems that the A-side is the previously heard outtake "Get Right," while the B-side is a song called "Crucified Again," both of which Arcade Fire have performed live. Prior reports have indicated that both songs will be in The Reflektor Tapes, making this single something of a companion to the film. (The movie clip of "Get Right" has already been unveiled and can be seen below.) The label is listed as Polydor.

UPDATE (9/17, 11 a.m.): Cover art for the release has now also surfaced, and you can see it above.

The Reflektor Tapes comes out on September 23. It already premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
