Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Lou Reed, Feist Contribute to Peter Gabriel Covers Album

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 25, 2013

Peter Gabriel released his covers album Scratch My Back in early 2010, and he promised at the time that it would be followed by And I'll Scratch Yours, featuring those same artists covering his own tunes. Now, more than three years later, he has finally detailed that follow-up.

The artists involved this time around aren't all the same, which isn't too much of a surprise, given that Gabriel had hinted that Radiohead's Thom Yorke was proving difficult to track down. David Bowie and Neil Young are also notably absent. Instead, these artists' places in the 12-song tracklist have been filled by Feist (featuring Timber Timbre), Brian Eno and Joseph Arthur.

As for the artists from Scratch My Back who reappear here, they are Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Lou Reed, Paul Simon, Stephin Merritt (of the Magnetic Fields), David Byrne, Regina Spektor, Elbow and Randy Newman. See what song each of them is covering in the tracklist below.
