A$AP Rocky Says He's NOT Releasing a New Mixtape with Rod Stewart

Of the many guests on A$AP Rocky's recent At.Long.Last.A$AP, the most surprising was British soft rock icon Rod Stewart. Their joint appearance on "Everyday" won't be the last time we hear from these two, however, as Rocky has just announced they're releasing a mixtape together.

It's some seriously ridiculous news, and we should likely take it with a grain of salt, but Rocky let loose the information in a recent interview with Vulture. When asked about his working relationship with Stewart, Rocky probed the interviewer to ask if they had any future collaborations in the works.

Then, Rocky said, "Me and Rod Stewart have a mixtape coming out. It's called Born to Be Pretty and it's definitely a panty-dropper. Droppin' this summer. You already know."

UPDATE: If this all seemed a little too weird to be true, it is. A$AP Rocky has taken to Twitter to write it all off as a joke:

A$AP Rocky's collaborative relationship with Rod Stewart comes hot on the heels of Kanye West's ongoing work with Paul McCartney. By this logic, a track featuring Big Sean and Engelbert Humperdinck can't be far off.
