Last month, Guelph folk duo Mary Cassidy & Jon Lawless unveiled their debut single, "Carolina." It turns out that this isn't Lawless' only collaboration, since he's just released a song with Anna Wiebe called "Go for Broke!"
This song boasts a similar pop sound to the "Carolina," although the folk influence is downplayed the beat-driven hip-hop-isms. This romantic confessional is a bubblegum R&B slow jam that is a poignant as it is catchy.
