While Panda Bear has spent this past winter busy with his album Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper, his three Animal Collective bandmates got together back in February for a DJ set at Washington, DC's U Street Music Hall. They've now shared that DJ set.
This comes from Avey Tare, Deakin, and Geologist, and it's credited to Animal Collective as a whole. It's a two-hour mix from February 8, and while it consists almost entirely of music from other artists, it sheds some light on where the musicians' heads are at these days. It includes music from Run the Jewels, Four Tet, Deee-Lite, the Beatles, Matthew Dear, Can and many more.
