After 2013's Dirty Gold, Detroit rapper Angel Haze is heading back to the woods with the new full-length collection Back to the Woods. Following some recent stand-alone songs, the entire collection is out now.
Recent singles "Impossible" and "Moonrise Kingdom" are included on this 13-song set, which was produced entirely by Tk Kayembe. Haze goes hard on the album, unleashing brash and aggressive rhymes atop of the anxiously rat-a-tatting beats. Her confrontational rap style is contrasted by songs like "Moonrise Kingdom," "The Eulogy," "Gods" and "The Woods," which hightlight her talent for sweet melodies.
