Back when Strange Dreams was just a digital release, it was unclear if Alex Calder was still planning to pursue music as his main gig. While the album's now set to find a physical home on Captured Tracks, it turns out Calder has already started a new career as a television host.
A new short film from director Tom Gunia pits Calder as the host of a new TLC program called Dark Journeys. The ghost-hunting show sees Calder and his friends search around a dark forest for signs of haunting creatures. Calder bleeds from the mouth with his dick between his legs, his assistant munches on a sandwich and a creepy being manifests from a cloud of smoke. In other words, it'd make for great real-life television.
Whether or not TLC decides to pick up the show is yet to be seen, but the trailer also serves as a reminder that Strange Dreams will arrive on January 20 through Captured Tracks. Prior to that, a proper video for the album's title track is on the way.
