Toronto R&B singer Alessia Cara will release her debut EP Four Pink Walls on August 28, but before we get a taste of her original material, the songstress is letting her hometown pride show with a cover of Drake's "Hotline Bling."
The new take on the recent Drizzy cut comes courtesy of a performance on Australian television station Channel V. The original hears Drake at his over-emotional, super-sensitive best and while Cara's vocals capture his sentiments, her backing band of an acoustic guitar and suitcase drumkit give it a bit more of an organic, folksy feel.
