Third Man Records ever-prolific Blue Series has announced yet another star-studded entry, this time a 7-inch featuring soulful Alabama Shakes singer Brittany Howard. The vocalist will join forces with Jack White's supporting singer Ruby Amanfu for a two-song single that arrives March 12.

As with other instalments, the two tracks preserved on the vinyl release were recorded in Nashville at Third Man Studio, with White behind the boards. The A-side finds the singers running through celebrated sugarman Rodriguez's Cold Fact track "I Wonder," while the pair team up to tackle iconic blues artist Memphis Minnie's "When My Man Comes Home" on the flip. You can stream the latter, which also has Howard handling acoustic guitar duties below.

On top of performing in White's live band, Amanfu was the co-vocalist on "Love Interruption" from the Third Man head's 2012 set Blunderbuss.

Alabama Shakes, meanwhile, are currently out on the road, with dates booked North America, South America and Europe until August. You can see their schedule here.
