Hailing from Washington, DC, "hip-pop" duo AKOKO recently teamed up with Toronto collective 88 Days of Fortune and will be making an appearance at the company's hometown anniversary bash on June 26. But first, AKOKO are unveiling a new clip for "Front to the Back (Pump Up the Bass)" — and Exclaim! has got your first look at it.
The Lord Pidjeon-produced track is the first single from an upcoming but as-yet-undetailed 2015 release from the two-piece, which consists of forward-thinking artists Sloan Amelia and Sugg Savage.
The new video sees the MCs embracing the party-friendly vibe of the track, delivering their verses under the colourful lights of a house party and even getting up out of their salon seats to move along with the track.
