Independent hip-hop heads, rejoice: Aesop Rock and Homeboy Sandman have joined forces and surprised fans with a free EP.
The pair have dropped a five-song freebie called Lice, and the release features production from DJ Spinna, Optiks, Blockhead,Alex "Apex" Gale and Charlie Hamilton. The cover art, designed by Jeremy Fish, is available above.
Lice is technically a self-released endeavour from the duo, though it was uploaded to SoundCloud and premiered by Stones Throw. The label explains that if you feel like spending some money on the release, instead donate to the Prep for Prep or City Harvest organizations.
