Acres of Lions Announce 'Home(s),' Prep Canadian Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Feb 6, 2013

Since the 2011 release of Collections, Victoria, BC-based pop rockers Acres of Lions have busied themselves with touring, and now they're set to return with another new disc and a Canadian tour. Their third album is called Home(s) and it's out on April 2 through Cordova Bay Records.

The first single is called "Bright Lights," and a press release describes it like this: "The debut track is an anthem-esque rock ballad that can't help but get stuck in your head. The band's aggressive pop rock tendencies are still intact, while the new single features a more mature and fresh songwriting outlook."

You can stream the song over at Facebook ahead of its official release on February 12.

As for Acres of Lions' Canadian tour, it lasts from March until May and finds the band touring from British Columbia all the way to Atlantic Canada. Interestingly, some of the shows are with Kingsfoil, a band that features Malcolm in the Middle actor Frankie Muniz on drums. See the itinerary below.
