AC/DC's Catalogue Finally Added to Streaming Services

Rock'n'roll veterans AC/DC have been notoriously resistant to the digital music revolution, holding out on iTunes until 2012 and refusing to give up their catalogue to online streaming services — until now.

As of today (June 30), the iconic Australian rock outfit have made their extensive discography available online through services like Rdio, Spotify and Apple Music.

The New York Times reported the news yesterday (June 29), on tips from anonymous sources "with knowledge of the band's plans." Sure enough, at midnight the group's classic albums were made available to stream.

AC/DC's entry into the world of iTunes came in 2012, following other infamous hold-outs like Metallica (who caved in 2006), Led Zeppelin (2007) and the Beatles (2010), making their latest LP Rock or Bust the first to be made available digitally upon release. Metallica entered the streaming game in 2012, with Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd hopping on board in 2013.

Relive AC/DC's classic tune "You Shook Me All Night Long" in the player below, or head over to your choice of online music provider to stream it — and the rest of their catalogue — all night long.
