Rick Ross Hints at Kanye West Collaboration, Gets Sued by Drug Dealer for Allegedly Stealing His Name
While it's not always the best idea to take celebrity tweets at face value, a rapper's Twitter has sparked a world of speculation in the hip-hop rumour mill. Florida-based MC Rick Ross has tweeted that he's working on a collaboration with Kanye West. "LIVE FAST,DIE YOUNG......ROZAY & YEEZY...COMING SOON!" the tweet reads, referring to some sort of joint project between Ross and Kanye. While an album could be in the cards, we think it's more likely that Ross is referring to a single he did for Kanye's Good Ass Job. After all, he was one of the rumoured guests on the album.

For now, the details of this tweet will have to wait as Ross faces some legal trouble. Born William Leonard Roberts II, he's facing a lawsuit from convicted drug kingpin "Freeway" Ricky Ross for stealing his name, Prefix points out.

The complicated story can be viewed below, but here's the gist of it: when the rapper Rick Ross first came out, he performed under the guise of being an ex-drug dealer. In reality, he was a former prison guard who had adopted the moniker of "Freeway" Ricky Ross. The real dealer was released from prison last year, and is suing the rapper for name infringement.
