WWE Unhappy with Meek Mill over Undertaker Sample in Drake Diss

BY Alex HudsonPublished Aug 1, 2015

Drake isn't the only one who is unimpressed with Meek Mill's diss track "Wanna Know." The Philadelphia rapper might now be in legal hot water over the new song, since it evidently uses an unlicensed sample from pro wrestler the Undertaker's entrance music.

The tolling bell and faux-choral sounds that appear prominently in the diss track come from the Undertaker's '90s theme "Graveyard Symphony." A spokesperson form the wrestling organization told TMZ, "WWE takes its intellectual property rights very seriously, and we're looking into the matter."

"Wanna Know" was produced by Jahlil Beats and Swizz Beatz. It remains to be seen whether the producers and/or Mill will face any legal percussions for sampling the WWE's song. Hear the tracks in question at the bottom of this page.

Also in the realm of professional wrestling, Pitchfork points out that Canadian star Bret "The Hitman" Hart" posted the OVO logo on his Instagram along with a message of support for Drake is his feud with Mill.
