Following a series of shorts, The Tribe marks the feature-length debut from Ukrainian director Myroslav Slaboshpytskiy. The film was a major festival hit, and now it's finally getting a wider release. As such, a trailer is now available.

The Tribe follows Sergey (Grigoriy Fesenko), a teenager trying to get through life at a boarding school. He's hearing impaired, as are all of his schoolmates. In fact, unless you can speak sign language, the film is void of any written or spoken dialogue. According to early reviews, however, that shouldn't be a problem — the film's said to be a poignant and arresting coming-of-age story.
